After some serious grain filling, a few coats of sealer are applied to make a nice level surface for the final finish.
I like to "sneak up" on the final colour so I applied 2 (or was it 3?) coats of butterscotch, followed by the clear coats.
The glare from the flash not only shows off my bad photography ;) it also helps to show that there's very little orange peel which means less sanding when the time comes. First the finish needs to cure for a while to harden up.
